Fiskflyg: Serving the North Since 1942

Fiskflyg, located in Northern Sweden in a small village named Porjus.

Founded in 1942 in the village of Porjus in northern Sweden, Fiskflyg began as a fish wholesaler and boat transport company.

In 1953, the company expanded into aviation with the acquisition of its first seaplane, a Republic RC-3 Sea Bee, enabling air transport of passengers, goods, fish, and supplies across the mountainous regions of northern Sweden.

As demand grew, the aviation operations expanded from seaplanes to helicopters. Over its 80-year history, the company has continuously adapted to changing market conditions and customer needs. Today, Fiskflyg operates solely as a helicopter company, with a fleet of ten helicopters and a fourth-generation maintenance workshop.

Current operations include helicopter taxi services, providing efficient and flexible transport for passengers and cargo. A significant part of the company’s work supports reindeer herding, assisting with locating, guiding, and moving reindeer across large and remote areas to improve safety and efficiency.

Fiskflyg also carries out assignments on behalf of government authorities, including transport, inspections, wildlife management, and firefighting. These missions require high standards of safety, reliability, and operational precision.

Through experienced personnel and a strong commitment to safety, Fiskflyg delivers professional helicopter services tailored to the specific requirements of each mission.
